IIT మద్రాస్ ప్రారంభించిన "సైన్స్ పాపులరైజేషన్" కార్యక్రమం: గ్రామీణ విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్, కెరీర్ మార్గదర్శకత్వం చెన్నై, 15 మార్చి 2024: ప్రతిష్టాత్మక విద్యాసంస్థ ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లోని ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్‌ అంశాలతో పాటు కెరీర్ మార్గదర్శకత్వం అందించడానికి "సైన్స్ పాపులరైజేషన్" అనే ఒక ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా, స్థానిక భాషల్లో సైన్స్ పుస్తకాలు పంపిణీ చేయడం ద్వారా విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్ పట్ల అవగాహన పెంచడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది. ఇప్పటివరకు సాధించిన పురోగతి: ఈ కార్యక్రమం కింద ఇప్పటివరకు ఏడు రాష్ట్రాల్లో 9193 గ్రామీణ ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలకు 3,20,702 పుస్తకాలు పంపిణీ చేయబడ్డాయి.  2026 నాటికి, తమిళనాడు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, కర్ణాటక, తెలంగాణ, ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ మరియు పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ రాష్ట్రాల్లోని 50,000 పాఠశాలలకు ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్ అవగాహన కల్పించాలని ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్ లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది. ప్రయోజనాలు: ఈ కార్యక్రమం విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్, టెక్నాలజీ, ఇంజనీరింగ్ మరియు మ్యాథమెటిక్స్ (STEM) రంగాల్లో కెరీర్‌...
